Orange County Flyers
James Denton/Mike Delfino Bobblehead Night
August 11, 2007 - 6:05 PM
Luxury Suite - Goodwin Field
Fullerton, California
|
|
About once a year, Jamie's long-time on-line fan/chat club gets together and
supports a charitable cause in Jamie's name. On the very first day that
Jamie's Bobblehead night at Goodwin Field was announced, it was obvious that the
occasion would provide the perfect medium for people to have a great time for a
good cause. That same day, we scheduled this year's charitable event for
the luxury suite at Goodwin Field.
The serious side of this event was to create awareness and raise funds for Cure Autism Now /
Autism Speaks.
The fun side was for everyone who attended to be among the first to get a
James Denton Bobblehead, to have the opportunity to spend some time with Jamie,
and to create awareness, throughout Orange County, of the Flyers, the team with
whom Jamie became associated this year.
Members from JPAC flew in from all
over the country to take part in the execution of this event, and most of them who came
donated their time, as well as
their hard-earned money, to help make the evening a success.
Here are the photos from the suite! Click on the thumbnails to see them
full size.
The gates to Goodwin field opened promptly at 5:05 PM and our suite filled very quickly after that!

Marc Cherry got interviewed about the Bobblehead and then
joined us for a few minutes in the suite.
