For three days in August of 2001, Jamie Denton joined most of the other cast and crew of "the Pretender" (Andrea Parker and Michael T. Weiss did not attend) to spend time with fans on a 11,000 square foot sound stage at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood, California.

He helped kick-off the event by spending part of the first afternoon doing scenes from "Pretender" episodes with fans.   All of these are from "Pretender 2001" - where Miss Parker grabs Lyle by his newly grafted thumb and twists it while trying to get information out of him about the whereabouts of their father, Mr. Parker.

One of the people doing the scenes mentioned to Jamie that "Angelo" was really her favorite character.  Much to everyone's surprise, Jamie called Paul Dillon up on stage, teasing that since "Lyle" was only her second favorite character, Paul really should be the one doing the scene!   Good on ya, Paul, for going along with one of the funniest moments of the afternoon!
