Saturday, August 20, found Jamie at Santa Monica's
Sonny McLean's, hosting a party/fundraiser to celebrate the successful
release of his friend (Red Sox pitcher) Bronson
Arroyo's CD, "Covering The Bases." The proceeds of
the evening went to the
Red Sox Foundation, which funds
the ball club's philanthropic efforts, including The Jimmy Fund, a Boston-based charity that supports
the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Jamie joined Arroyo and "Alice in Chains" guitarist Mike Inez,
sitting in for "Dirty Water."
